Olga Kurylenko the new Bond girl

 
Olga Kurylenko is the hot Ukranian actress (mother is Russian, father Ukrainian) that you’ll be seeing in the new James Bond movie, Quantum of Solace.   She was discovered by a model scout at age thirteen in Moscow and began a film career in France a few years later.  Though she has starred a few films already, Quantum of Solace will be her biggest box office hit to date.  Hopefully she’ll have a longer life span than most bond girls, as they tend to do a bond flick and then disappear…not all of them, but many light up the screen and are then forgotten, unless they were already established actresses to begin with, like Halle Berry or Jane Seymour.  If acting doesn’t work out, she can always continue to model.  I’m sure you’d like that…

Joe the “no show” Plumber

Doesn’t seem like John McCain is having an easy time with this Election.  Not only does Obama seem to be crushing him in the polls, but now we find out that the man who he brought out of obscurity and granted 15 minutes of fame to, the famous Joe Wurzelbacher, a.k.a. “Joe the Plumber,” dissed him at a campaign rally in, of all places, a town called Defiance, Ohio. Don’t believe me? Watch below.

Man, if “Joe the Plumber,” the dude McCain turned overnight into the most famous plumber in the world, isn’t excited enough to get out of bed and come out to support him, then he definitely has problems.

Stacy Keibler in Maxim November 2008

I don’t know if Stacy Keibler is better known for wrestling, her stint on Dancing with the Stars, or her incredibly long and super sexy legs (along with face, a$$, abs, globes and everything else).  After this latest shoot in Maxim, she’ll be known as a TV and movie star.  Stacy Keibler is taking over Hollywood! She just did a stint on ABC called Samurai Girl and is in the running for another show, Life on Mars.  Hopefully as is usually the case with hot starlets, she’ll also do more more photo shoots like this one!

Maxim: What kind of guys do you like?

SK: I like guys who can keep up wiht my crazy life and have their own stuff going on.  More importantly, though, they need to make me laugh.

Maxim: What’s the greatest misconception about Stacy Keibler?

SK: I’m much more of a fun-spirited person than a deep, dark, depressed person.  I’m pretty goofy.  I definitely don’t take myself too seriously.  People probably wouldn’t think it, but I’m kind of just a nerd.
